The Inn Keepers

Francisco and Antonieta enjoy opening their San Miguel home and their hearts to all of their guests at Antigua Capilla Bed and Breakfast.

Francisco was born in Guatemala City, raised in San Francisco and studied Architectural Engineering at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Antonieta is a San Francisco native born to a Mexican father and Nicaraguan mother. She has a Business Degree in Hospitality Management from the University of San Francisco and a Pastry Chef degree from Tante Marie Cooking School.

In 2004, we purchased a Victorian home in San Francisco and opened Arlington Street Urban Inn Bed and Breakfast. It was an instant success and we soon discovered our true calling and career path. We eventually sold our successful B&B in 2006 and moved to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico where we built the beautiful Antigua Capilla B&B.

As frequent travelers ourselves, we designed a unique Bed and Breakfast that we would enjoy staying in, as will you.

We will both be making contributions to this blog and will often switch from the first to the third person and back. We hope this doesn't confuse you!
