Our 2009 Day of the Dead Altar at Antigua Capilla B&B in San Miguel de Allende
Here's our first video that we recently put together while fooling around with a movie maker program. The video shows images of our Day of the Dead altar inside our old chapel at Antigua Capilla Bed and Breakfast. We had lots of help, and it still took over 6 hours to complete!
The Day of the Dead is a huge Mexican holiday that is celebrated to remember those who have passed away. The holiday is celebrated over 2 days, November 1 and 2, to coincide with the Catholic holidays of All Saints Day and All Souls Day. In Mexico, it is tradition to erect altars in honor of the deceased.
