Satisfy your Midnight Munchies for Just a Few Pesos in San Miguel de Allende

Some people in San Miguel de Allende, believe it or not, would not be caught dead eating street food. Well, we’re here to say that we eat street food all the time, and we have never gotten sick! Whenever we travel, we seek it out, and we’re always satisfied. Is there a better way to try the local flavors? We’ve noticed that many of the guests at our San Miguel de Allende bed and breakfast also seek out the local street cuisine, and we’re always happy to suggest some of our favorites.

There’s a particular taco stand in town that we enjoy very much located on the corner of Insurgentes and Hidalgo. They’re always busy, which means a high turnover. The plate of three beef tacos freshly cooked to order and served with a variety of condiments and salsas on a flour tortilla is around $50 Pesos including a drink (check the sidebar to convert to your local currency.)

This place will stay open until the food runs out, and they make sure to have enough food to stay open until the wee hours of the morning. It’s a great place to hit after a night out.

Our mouths are watering!
